Well, it's 2008 and we're back 
It's been a long time of consolidation for Shine On - i've tossed and turned with the idea of bringing the forum back, or letting this sleeping dog lie, but i eventually chose the latter.
As you'll probably notice, there are a few changes. For one, all the threads have gone, save for a few. We decided that it'd be best to give everyone more scope for threads, and not feel "well, there was a thread about it, so i best not do another". Well, feel free to All the old threads are now in the archive, which is read-only. The boards will probably stay the same, but we'll decide at a later date.
There are also a few staff changes. The changes being that the lovely Lauren has left us, as her uni commitments among others meant that they took an understandable priority. She was a massive help to the forum and her input was invaluable
The other change is that Andrew has become the admin. Well, i am still admin too, but i'll be here in more of an advisory role. I've a lot of things going on work wise but i'll still be here! Andrew will be sharing the load and pushing the forum to newer heights. We hope that with this joint team there'll be a new direction and hopefully a renewed popularity We may, if activity picks up be looking for board moderators, so stay tuned and we'll explain as and when.
As for the layout of the forum, a new design is in it's preliminary stages and this will be updated when we've got something we're happy with - we thought that for now, the v2 skin was more than suitable.
For now, that's all i can think of! Feel free to ask any questions and voice and comments or queries you may have

Good to see it back in place! I am heading for qualification exams in February so my activity will be sporadic til then, due to 24/7 studying, but I'm in the habit of dropping in for a few minutes every couple days just to check in.

Glad that the best Pink Floyd forum known to man is not gone! Over time, we will overtake Glimpse and Neptune. Plus, it's great to get along with everyone and no flipping trolls!

Hey everybody. I apologize if I had been busy. I just took a sabbatical for three days to my native Boston to see Judas Priest. Been trying to keep up on all news Pink Floyd thanks to my friend Matt Johns at Brain Damage. I had a bad bust up with Col at Fleeting Glimpse. I guess Col and his buds weren't into free speech loving people like myself. Anyhow, I'm going to look for more Floyd news. Anyhow, how is it hanging everyone. Haga, welcome aboard:)!
