First of all, welcome 
As a member of Shine On, you agree to adhere to the Proboards Terms Of Service. When you registered, you agreed to the "Proboards User Agreement". We do ask you that you try to adhere to these. If not, then the admin and moderator team will enforce this.
Shine On is intended to be a friendly place where people can discuss their love for Pink Floyd, and many other topics. As is expected, there will be some debates and discussions which could become heated. We have no problem with this as it can be healthy. However, we will not tolerate rude, offensive or flaming posts, directed toward a guest or member, or the forum itself. If you have a problem with another member then try to keep it to Private Messages. If a resolution cannot be reached, then a staff member will step in to help resolve the issue.
If there is a thread or a post that we feel is inappropriate or offensive in any way, we reserve the right to edit/delete that post . If this happens, we will notify the creator of the offending article as to why it was edited/removed. If this does not stop, the offending author of the thread/post will be given a warning. If this continues after a warning we reserve the right to ban the member for a length of time that we see fit.
We ask that no material that could be considered pornographic or sexually explicit. Any such examples will be removed and a warning will be given to the offender as these are against the Proboards TOS, and we have members of varying age registered here.
We ask that anyone who links to an image in a post hosts it themselves. There are plenty of free hosting sites available such as Photobucket or Imageshack. If there is still a problem with linking then contact me and i will attempt to host it myself. Hotlinking is not illegal, but it is considered rude as you are using up others' bandwidth.
Currently, there is no advertising allowed - this includes "join my board" threads. This is inclusive of both the forum and the shoutbox. Also, PMing other members asking them to join a rival board is strictly forbidden and will result in a warning, and possibly a banning if the offence is bad enough. You may add your link for your site in your signiature and your profile.
The forum has been designed in a way that any images with a width of more than 500 pixels will stretch the page. Please keep any images to a maximum of 500 pixels. If needed, contact a staff member who will help to resize your image should you wish.
We reserve the right to edit the rules, but if there are any major changes then we will let everyone know.
If there are any of the rules that are unclear or the like, then contact any of the staff and they will help.
